And Im talking SLOW. Imagine that, T-Mobile will do a free phone for new service that they discontenued months prior. This thing has a slower processor than my 6 year old PDA. Spend a few bucks. get ATT service, and get a phone that is worth a crap.
There really isnt anything spectacular about this phone. Such a waste of money. The internet processor is very slow so if you're getting lost, you'll get more lost before you can get the right directions.
The screen stopped working after a year only. I was told there was no insurance I could buy for this phone. It called people randomly all the time.
Anyway, I called about possibly getting it replaced but was told I had no insurance, which wasn't even offered to me at the time I purchased. At $300 I would think I'd get more out of it. I was carried away by the hype when I purchased this phone, but I will never buy this phone again.
Insurance won't help anyway because I was told I would have to pay about $150 to get a replacement phone. I'd rather buy a new Nokia.
I frequently get voice messages a day or two late after the phone has not rung at the time the message was dated. I am puzzled how anyone can even say that it is "alright". 1. The finish on the phone is flaking off.8.
The keys are small and the multifunction keys are difficult to use. 6. She has had to send it back once due to malfunctions. Along with mine, I also bought one for my wife. It's so bad, I dread using it and use it only when I absolutely have to.
This happens in various locations. 3. The dropped connections have improved of late, but still occur. I'm only hoping it will limp along so I don't have to send it in again, even though I am not getting the service for which I contracted with T-Mobile.I bought this phone over a year ago as a business phone based on very positive reviews, but it's unreliability has especially been a disappointment for that particular usage. This could and probably has lost business opportunities for me.
I frequently get dropped connections on business calls, sometimes 3 times during one discussion. Don't know if the problem is the phone itself, the T-Mobile network or both, but this has been the worst phone I've ever had and I can hardly wait until the contract is up to get rid of it. The connection to the web is unreliable and I sometimes have to remove the battery and sim and restart the phone to get a connection. 4.
5. It is frequently difficult to end a call, especially to retrieve voicemail, and also sometimes requires battery and sim removal and reboot. It gives me a summary of my emails with text that states I will get the full version when I connect again but fails to do so on reconnection. So I have gotten nothing but frustration from this purchase.
I rate it as a 0.I have had to send in two phones for replacement due to malfunctions. I have called T-mobile support time and again only to be told to do various things that have only helped one time. 2.
These are so numerous that it is embarrassing. I have had notes and contacts simply disappear.7. I don't even call anymore. My advice is to buy just about any other phone from any other service.
I have this phone for 1 year and have 1 year left on my contract. I went back to the dealer and tried to get my money back but it was beyind the return period but they gave me a new battery. I bought a higher capacity battery from Amazon and it worked beautifully ever since. After I came back I started to have problems with battery not lasting after fully charging it. T-Mobile recommended resetting once a day. I even fully charged it before I went to bed and turned off blue tooth and wi-fi and noticed that it only had 20 % left in the morning. I got it from an authorized dealer and went on vacation for a month. I had the same problem with the new battery not keeping the charge.
I called T-mobile to get it replaced and they told me it was out of waranty. They told me that the phone was sold and activated 4 times.my fault for not checking with T-mobile after I purchased the phone. The only thing is that you may have to reset the phone if you run several applications.I guess due to memory leaks. The phone is nice.the software.full office suite.the touch screen.handwriting recognition are all features I love.
It comes with 128MB of ROM (which seems hardly enough to run WM 6) and 16MB of RAM. First, the battery life. There are several issues with this phone that make it a poor choice for use all around. And did I mention that this phone is a brick.
it's a bummer. I've had this phone for about 6 months now and use it for both personal and work. I have frequent issues with memory (though I have an additional MicroSD card in and the hanging of applications. The keys for the physical keyboard are slightly rounded which makes it pretty easy to type quickly. This phone needs to be charged seemingly on a daily basis.
Admittedly, this could be Windows Mobile, but based on the memory warnings I frequently get, it's not that alone. If you're stuck with a T-Mobile smartphone, go with the Dash or the Shadow. There are a few redeeming qualities, but for the most part. It's heavy and thick which makes it awkward to ever put in a pocket. The few redeeming things. It definitely needs to be turned off when not in use for long periods of time, even when you are using energy saving things like a low backlight.
Second, memory. The screen resolution and backlight is quite bright and clear and the button placement and shape are pretty intuitive. or even better, the new HTC Tytan.
